Prism Power is now an 'Endorser' of the EU Code of Conduct
for Data Centres
Prism Power is building on its commitment to undertake the best practices for data centre energy efficiency by becoming an endorser of the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres. Prism Power is a first-class innovator and manufacturer of resilient power systems that ensure maximum continuity and enhance business operations for our clients. By officially endorsing the EU Code of Conduct, Prism Power is actively demonstrating their dedication to following examined and agreed voluntary actions that will advance energy efficiency.
The EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres has been created in response to increasing energy consumption and the need to reduce the related environmental, economic and energy supply security impacts. The initiative proposes a framework for European stakeholders to aspire to that will encourage good decision-making and will inform and stimulate data centre operators and owners to reduce energy consumption cost-effectively, without impeding the mission critical function of data centres.
In conjunction with the EU Code, Prism Power’s objective is to increase the efficiency of power and cooling systems without compromising on the levels of reliability, availability and serviceability. As EU Code Endorsers, Prism Power acts on our awareness of the financial, environmental and infrastructural benefits to be gained from improving the energy efficiency of their facilities, and is making a concerted effort to face the multidimensional challenge and optimise power distribution, cooling infrastructure and make our solutions more energy efficient. This is reinforced through the continual efforts to research and develop breakthrough solutions that promote eco responsibility and support climate change initiatives by minimising the energy used in order to optimise efficiency.
Prism Power commits to following the best practices and targets that have been recommended by the Code, based on sensitive universal understanding of energy demand within data centres. By endorsing the principles of the Code of Conduct, Prism Power will become increasingly efficient and offer more economically viable solutions, whilst maintaining the reliability and operational continuity of data centres.
Our focus on green operations will not only decrease carbon footprint and environmental impact, but also by meeting energy saving targets the benefits extend to reduced service and operational costs. As Participants of EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres, our vision is to develop innovative technologies that power the global marketplace whilst endeavouring to make every practical effort to ensure data centres are designed to minimise energy consumption without compromising on business performance.
