Case Study

Telecommunication Service of Trinidad & Tobago

We were commissioned to design and build the mechanical and electrical infrastructure for this part government-owned telecoms provider. Part of an extension & renovation of an existing building at the client’s Mausica site in Trinidad.

The client was looking to improve its service to customers by consolidating several facilities into a resilient centralised space. The capital plant was built and supplied from the UK and Europe from key specialist suppliers.

The design was carried out by Prism Power in the UK with close liaison with the client’s team and various on site visits by our team. Beyond this the project management primarily handled from the UK was supplemented by a full time on site presence within Trinidad during the build. The project was delivered on budget and within the established project timescale despite challenging local conditions.
